Looking after our physical health is a significant part of looking after our overall wellbeing. Having a healthy lifestyle includes making the right choices such as healthy eating, being active and maintaining a healthy weight.
Your organisation’s journey to health, safety and wellbeing starts with an assessment of your overall workplace health. The focus is on measuring "whole-person health" including physical, mental, social and work wellbeing.
Mental Wellbeing measure stress and resilience.
Work Wellbeing relates to the engagement and connectedness an individual feels at work.
Physical Wellbeing assesses physical health and risk factors.
Social Wellbeing relates to an individual’s level of happiness and purpose.
Onsite health assessments assess the health status of an individual. Conveniently carried out at the workplace, health checks can be the trigger for healthy behavioural change. Most common tests include Body Mass Index (BMI), blood glucose levels, blood cholesterol levels, blood pressure and lifestyle assessment. All results are received on the spot and are 100% confidential. Employees will receive their own personal results booklet with assistance to help to decipher what their results mean and where they can go to access further information.
Health assessments are an important element of any health and wellbeing program as they identify areas of risk. Health assessments also provide a baseline measure and understanding of the health of the organisation as a whole. The results of the health checks can be used to develop a tailored, efficacious program that addresses the identified risks in your organisation.
