Compassion Fatigue - Provides practical information and tools for managers to support staff who experience burn out and compassion fatigue in their work with clients. Participants will explore the difference between stress, burnout and compassion fatigue, learn to identify signs that staff are not coping, and acquire strategies to support themselves and their staff through these more challenging times.

Critical Incident Management - A critical incident can be defined as any event capable of causing considerable emotional distress for those who have witnessed or experienced it. This session helps participants to understand different emotional reactions, including common responses to trauma, and tips on how to respond to staff who may be impacted.

Diversity and Inclusion - Provides leaders with knowledge and practical information to enhance understanding of the diverse nature of the workplace, and how individual differences can be harnessed to foster healthy working relationships. Participants explore ways in which our perceptions can influence our reactions to difference as well as communication skills that facilitate professional, respectful discussions when working with others who are different to us.

Domestic and Family Violence Awareness - This training provides the latest information around Violence against Women (VAW). Managers will gain a much greater insight into what women and children go through when exposed to domestic violence and learn how to look for the signs that a staff member is struggling with this issue as well as a best practice approach to recognise, respond and refer them for help and support.

Managing Challenging Behaviours - Provides practical information and tools for managers to understand how to deal with challenging behaviour they experience at work. Participants will be given the opportunity to identify what behaviours are challenging for them and why. They will be provided with skills and strategies to assist them in responding effectively to these behaviours in their role as a manager.

Managing Workplace Conflict - Provides information and tools to support managers to manage workplace conflict effectively. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the definition and causes of conflict in the workplace and how to identify when conflict is useful and when it becomes an obstacle. Strategies are provided to manage conflict effectively with and between staff members.

Mental Health Awareness - Provides managers with a greater understanding of mental health issues, including the signs that someone may be experiencing anxiety or depression. Managers gain an understanding of what they can do to support someone they know or suspect is experiencing mental health issues in the workplace including practical support around developing a plan for responding to a potential risk of suicide.

Supporting People Through Redundancy - Provides practical information and tools for managers who are communicating redundancies to staff. Participants will explore organisational change in context of the change curve reaction model; common emotional reactions to change; followed by practical strategies to support staff through redundancies. The session also invites managers to reflect on and develop self-care strategies through change processes.

Resilience through Change - Provides practical information and tools for understanding the impact of and reactions to major changes occurring in the workplace. Managers will reflect on the protective and risk factors present in the organisation that help or hinder change processes with a view to increasing the protective factors. Strategies are provided to assist themselves and support their team members to improve their resilience to change.

Workplace Bullying Awareness - This session will help employees to understand what type of behaviours may be considered workplace bullying and the impact that this behaviour has on individuals and those witnessing the behaviour. Participants will gain an understanding of how to foster a workplace culture that stops bullying as well as how they can support an employee who has reported workplace bullying.
